Detoxing your Mindset in the Morning
You have probably heard of Detoxing your body, but detoxing your energy is just as important!! When your mindset is full of toxic thoughts and your aura is full of unprocessed emotions it can cause alot of craziness in your life, and you don't understand why the hell you feel like shit. Do you ever snap and just want to go off on anyone in your way? Do you ever feel like certain people trigger you just by looking at you the wrong way? Do you ever feel like you have PMS ( sorry guys) but it's not the right time for it, but you want to cry and kill someone all at the same time? Life sucks sometimes and I am here to tell you that it doesn't have to be that way.
Being aware and understanding HOW IMPORTANT detoxing your mind can change the way you are living your life. The practices that I am going to share with you are not difficult, they are very very simple, but starting a new habit can be hard at times, so be patient with yourself.
The first practice starts before your feet hit the floor in the morning and before you even open your eyes. Get in gratitude mode!!! Be freaking grateful that you got a new freaking day and that you can start fresh, even if you fucked up yesterday......LET IT GO!! I haven't met ONE person who hasn't fucked up!!! It's absolutely normal and you are human. So set your alarm 10-15 minutes before you have to get up and snooze it for 10 minutes so you know when you are finished with detoxing your mind.
Send out gratitude for your life, for your mistakes, for your lessons, for the love you have in your life, for the health you have!! Even more important, be Grateful for the good things that are coming into your life, this manifests things alot faster. Why? Because everything is energy and everything vibrates at a certain frequency, and gratitude has the same frequency as ABUNDANCE, so being grateful gets your energy vibrating around the same frequency as abundance, now who doesn't want more abundance??
Next, I invite you to set your INTENTIONS for the day! Getting out of bed without intention can make your day more hectic, more chaotic, it's almost like life is just happening to you. But you can change that, you can get into the creative mode instead of the survival mode. Make the intention to find the solution for yesterday's problems, to make more people smile, to make those 20 phone calls you've been putting off, to choose joy over hate, or just to have a different perspective on an issue in your life.
I invite you to implement these small practices into your routine and see how you start feeling. Check in with yourself 2-3 times a day, are you still in gratitude mode, are you setting intentions for your afternoon meeting, setting intentions for your evening with your family? It is definitely a different way of operating in your life, but you will come to understand detoxing your mindset is just as important as detoxing your body!!
